The project
Complete renovation of a 30m² apartment in the 12th arrondissement of Paris. The clients prioritised a living space able to welcome several guests, a functional kitchen, a bathroom, and a sleeping area — all within an extremely compact footprint.
Technical challenges
Working within a 30m² plan required every decision to serve multiple purposes. The single evacuation point anchored the bathroom position, while the lack of openings demanded careful placement of artificial lighting and reflective materials to compensate.
Floor plan & axonometric
The floor plan reorganises the circulation to maximise usable space. The sleeping area is elevated on a platform to create storage underneath, while the living and kitchen zones share a single open volume.

The colour palette centres on deep burgundy, warm wood tones, and raw concrete — creating contrast and warmth within a constrained volume. The wood slat wall anchors the living area while the elevated sleeping platform defines the night zone without a physical partition.
